From Chaos To Control: 5 Strategies For Entrepreneurs with ADHD to Overcome Overwhelm

If you feel like you’ve tried everything to manage your overwhelm as an ADHD entrepreneur and you’re still stuck, it may be time to seek additional support or explore new strategies.

Here are some strategies to overcome overwhelm for ADHD entrepreneurs to consider:

1. Get an ADHD Coach

An ADHD coach is a trained professional who can help you identify your strengths and challenges, set goals, develop strategies, and stay accountable. A coach can help you navigate the unique challenges of entrepreneurship with ADHD and develop a personalized plan for success.

Danielle Ralston and I are both professional ADHD coaches. We’re not just saying that we’re experts, we’ve actually been recognized by some pretty awesome organizations for our skills. Plus, we’re so good at what we do that we consult for the ADHD coaching app, Agave Health.

As overwhelmed women entrepreneurs, we know you’ve got a ton on your plate. That’s why it’s so important to work with someone who truly understands ADHD and can help you manage it effectively. That’s where we come in! We’ve helped so many people just like you overcome their challenges and achieve success. So if you’re feeling stuck, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help!

2. Join an ADHD support group.

Connecting with others who understand what you’re going through can be incredibly helpful. Joining an ADHD support group can provide you with a safe and supportive space to share your experiences, learn from others, and get tips and advice.

If you’re looking for a supportive and empowering space to connect with others who understand what you’re going through as an ADHD individual, you may want to consider joining our private group for our Academy members. Our members have access to a daily support system from both Danielle and myself, as well as other women who are also navigating life & biz with ADHD.

This group is a safe and confidential space where you can share your experiences, ask for advice, and receive daily touchpoints from experienced ADHD coaches. Our group is designed to empower you and help you navigate the challenges that come with ADHD. By joining us, you’ll be part of a community that understands and supports you, providing you with the tools and strategies to live a fulfilling life.

3. Consider alternative treatments.

While medication and therapy are often effective for managing ADHD symptoms, there are other treatments that may be worth exploring. For example, some people find that acupuncture, exercise, or dietary changes can help them manage symptoms and reduce overwhelm.

4. Reevaluate your goals and priorities.

It’s possible that you may be feeling overwhelmed because you’re trying to do too much or pursuing goals that don’t align with your values. Take some time to reflect on what’s truly important to you and reevaluate your goals and priorities accordingly.

5. Practice self-compassion.

Managing ADHD as an entrepreneur can be challenging, but it’s important to remember that you’re not alone and you’re doing the best you can. Be kind and patient with yourself, and remember that progress is not always linear.
